Despite the lack of potentially adequate summer moisture, it’s good to see the herd enjoying some spring forage. The Pasque flowers are open and happy along Haviland Lake!

It’s really trying out there, and that last little snowfall helped a lot. Ah, I remember Pasque flowers from my days in Montana. 🙂 Beautiful! The Indian paintbrushes, vetch and globemallow are now starting to make an appearance here, along with the phlox and white daisies (?).
